Projects and project lifecycle

On this page

Create a specification, attach existing work and review project status before changing it.

Use these tools

  1. Call the relevant read or status tool first.
  2. Review the target and required arguments.
  3. Run one intended action, with explicit human confirmation where required.
  4. Inspect status or re-read the affected resource afterward.

Inputs below describe the public contract. Your connected server’s current tool list is authoritative. Some tools require a particular host, target, inference mode or plan. Identifiers are values returned by earlier tools; do not invent them.

create_project

Start a project from a description.

Drafts the product specification. Initialization is a separate confirmation. Keep the returned project identifier and follow project_status.

ArgumentRequiredType or accepted values

| prompt | Yes | string; minLength 1 |

Operation: can change state or start work.

Available setups: stdio, cloud project, cloud inference; stdio, cloud project, delegated inference; stdio, local project, cloud inference; stdio, local project, delegated inference; hosted HTTP.

The machine-readable tool contracts include nested argument schemas.

confirm_project

Accept the specification and build the application.

Show the specification to the requesting person first. This starts application initialization, which can use an allowance or credits. Follow project_status.

ArgumentRequiredType or accepted values

| projectId | No | string |

| name | No | string |

| description | No | string |

| specification | No | string |

| vision | No | string |

| designSystem | No | string |

Operation: can change state or start work.

Available setups: stdio, cloud project, cloud inference; stdio, cloud project, delegated inference; stdio, local project, cloud inference; stdio, local project, delegated inference; hosted HTTP.

The machine-readable tool contracts include nested argument schemas.

project_status

Where the project stands.

Read the returned resource and use its current values when planning the next action.

ArgumentRequiredType or accepted values

| projectId | No | string |

Operation: read-only.

Available setups: stdio, cloud project, cloud inference; stdio, cloud project, delegated inference; stdio, local project, cloud inference; stdio, local project, delegated inference; hosted HTTP.

The machine-readable tool contracts include nested argument schemas.

list_projects

The projects on this account.

Read the returned resource and use its current values when planning the next action.

Arguments: none ({}).

Operation: read-only.

Available setups: stdio, cloud project, cloud inference; stdio, cloud project, delegated inference; stdio, local project, cloud inference; stdio, local project, delegated inference; hosted HTTP.

The machine-readable tool contracts include nested argument schemas.

attach_project

Work on an existing project.

Verify the selected project before later mutations. Use either the supported identifier or slug according to the input schema.

ArgumentRequiredType or accepted values

| projectId | No | string |

| slug | No | string |

Operation: can change state or start work.

Available setups: stdio, cloud project, cloud inference; stdio, cloud project, delegated inference; stdio, local project, cloud inference; stdio, local project, delegated inference; hosted HTTP.

The machine-readable tool contracts include nested argument schemas.

reinitialize_project

Rebuild the application from the template.

Rebuilds the application foundation. Review its effects and current source before using it as recovery.

ArgumentRequiredType or accepted values

| projectId | No | string |

Operation: can change state or start work; destructive effects are possible.

Available setups: stdio, cloud project, cloud inference; stdio, cloud project, delegated inference; stdio, local project, cloud inference; stdio, local project, delegated inference; hosted HTTP.

The machine-readable tool contracts include nested argument schemas.

rename_project

Rename the project.

Read the returned resource and use its current values when planning the next action.

ArgumentRequiredType or accepted values

| name | Yes | string; minLength 1; maxLength 128 |

| description | No | string; minLength 1; maxLength 2048 |

| projectId | No | string |

Operation: can change state or start work.

Available setups: stdio, cloud project, cloud inference; stdio, cloud project, delegated inference; stdio, local project, cloud inference; stdio, local project, delegated inference; hosted HTTP.

The machine-readable tool contracts include nested argument schemas.

delete_project

Delete a project.

Destructive: removes the project. Require a person to confirm the exact project; deletion does not restore a lifetime allowance.

ArgumentRequiredType or accepted values

| projectId | Yes | string; minLength 1 |

| confirm | Yes | boolean |

Operation: can change state or start work; destructive effects are possible.

Available setups: stdio, cloud project, cloud inference; stdio, cloud project, delegated inference; stdio, local project, cloud inference; stdio, local project, delegated inference; hosted HTTP.

The machine-readable tool contracts include nested argument schemas.

unlock_project_agent

Release a stuck project lock.

Recovery action. Check that no legitimate run is active before confirming release of a stuck lock.

ArgumentRequiredType or accepted values

| projectId | No | string |

| confirm | Yes | boolean |

Operation: can change state or start work; destructive effects are possible.

Available setups: stdio, cloud project, cloud inference; stdio, cloud project, delegated inference; stdio, local project, cloud inference; stdio, local project, delegated inference; hosted HTTP.

The machine-readable tool contracts include nested argument schemas.

pickup_intent

Pick up a prompt typed on the public site.

Read the returned resource and use its current values when planning the next action.
